Cleveland Restoration Society invites its members to a SNOOP! tour at The Bulkley Building.
The Bulkley Building, a former nine-story office building, has been reimagined to house 84 apartments, offices, a bar and restaurants - bringing new life to this downtown space.
Tom Einhouse, former Vice President of Facilities and Capital at Playhouse Square and a Cleveland Restoration Society Honorary Life Trustee, will lead this insider tour, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to successfully adapt an historic building for a modern urban landscape.
The tour will begin below ground in the facilities services area, then move upward through the historic lobby, the third-floor residential amenities, and into one or two completed apartments. This ambitious project utilized historic tax credits and included a $6 million façade restoration, demonstrating how thoughtful preservation honors Cleveland’s architectural legacy while ensuring buildings like The Bulkley remain vibrant, functional, and relevant for generations to come.
