Cleveland Restoration Society invites its members to our August SNOOP! tour of the James A. Garfield Memorial.

On Saturday, August 9th at 10:00 am, Take a tour of the James A. Garfield Memorial at Lakeview Cemetery with Cleveland Restoration Society Trustee Todd Mayher of DLR Group, who will show off the award-winning restoration work that earned the project our top 2025 Celebration of Preservation Award, “Distinguished Restoration of a Cultural Landmark and AIA Craftsmanship Award.” The 9-year restoration of this national and local landmark required preservation expertise and significant fundraising efforts. The restored monument has reopened to welcome visitors to the memorial rotunda and to the top of the tower where the view of Cleveland and Lake Erie can be enjoyed as it was when the memorial was first built. Don’t delay registering! We are only able to accommodate 50 people on this SNOOP! We will start a wait list if we reach capacity.
